The Gerlingerwirt lies in the Saalfeldener Becken, at the foot of the mountain Schwalbenwand.

In the winter, you can reach the major ski resorts of the region (Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang, Maria Alm-Hochkönig, Zell am See-Kaprun) within 10-20 minutes by car. Cross-country skiing trails go directly by our house and you can also start a ski tour on the Schwalbenwand from right outside our door.

In the summer, the region allows for a multitude of sporting activities like hiking, mountaineering, golfing, cycling or swimming. Alternatively, you can just relax in the beautiful surroundings of the Austrian Alps.
